AutoTuner Adds Support for Marelli 9GV ECU

AutoTuner has introduced a significant protocol update that adds support for the Marelli 9GV ECU in Bench mode, specifically during Normal Read operations.

This update opens up compatibility for a wide range of Volkswagen vehicles equipped with the 1.6 Flexfuel and 1.6 MSI engines, which are prevalent in both Latin America and global export markets. Tuning professionals can now more easily implement custom Stage 1 performance upgrades, enhance fuel economy, and optimize settings for ethanol and flexfuel use.

Supported models include the Volkswagen Fox and Crossfox (2005 - 2014), Gol and Saveiro (2013+), Voyage (2014+), Spacefox (2014+), Vento (2014+), and Jetta (2014+). The software update promises a reliable and effective benchmarking protocol designed to streamline tuning processes.

Key metrics for the Marelli 9GV ECU include a read time of 1 minute and 15 seconds, a write time of 30 seconds, checksum correction, and backup creation functionality. Users are encouraged to update their AutoTuner software to leverage these new capabilities.
