Flex 8.13.0.0 Adds Bosch MG1CS111 Support for VAG

Flex has expanded its capabilities for the VAG Group, introducing support for the Bosch MG1CS111 ECU in version 8.13.0.0. This ECU features a TriCore TC298 processor, allowing tuners to program it directly without requiring the unit to be sent for laboratory services.

The functionality is made possible through Boot Glitch unlocking, enabling complete independent operation, even in Bench mode. This significantly streamlines the workflow for automotive technicians, offering greater control over the programming process.

This new support is accessible to users with either a Flex Full Master (FLS0.5M) or Full Slave (FLS0.5S) license. Key capabilities include reading and writing internal flash memory and EEPROM, creating full backups, and performing boot unlocks.

The newly added support can enhance tuning options for models such as the Volkswagen Arteon (I) 3H (2017MY) with a 2.0L TSI (CZPB) engine rated at 187HP.
