Korhex Adds Support for SPC58N Microprocessors with New Flex Update
The release of Flex version 8.16.0.0 brings new capabilities for tuners working with SPC58N microprocessors. Korhex has introduced a dedicated procedure for unlocking the Bosch MG1CA920 control unit, which is utilized in Rotax engines from the BRP Group.
This latest update streamlines the connection process, eliminating the need for manual intervention on the circuit board, such as removing resistors or soldering Boot points. Tuning professionals can now position Korhex and follow a guided process through Flex to access the SPC58N microprocessor more efficiently.
To utilize this new protocol, users must have either the FLS0.20 license or the Flex Full FLS0.5 configuration. The Flex software continues to allow for reading/writing/checksumming of internal flash memory and EEPROM, along with full backups.
The new update is applicable to specific models like the 2022 Sea-Doo Switch Sport with the 1.6L Rotax 1630 ACE and the 2024 Ski-Doo Expedition featuring the 0.9L Rotax 900 ACE Turbo R engine.
