New Flex Update Adds DAF Delphi ETC3 UDS Unlocking Feature
The latest update for Flex introduces the capability to unlock DAF Delphi ETC3 UDS control units through Boot Glitch mode, enabling workshops to perform this operation independently.
This new functionality utilizes Electromagnetic Fault Injection (EMFI) technology, allowing direct intervention on the processor to facilitate the Boot Glitch procedure. Workshops will benefit from dedicated accessories included in the Korhex kit, which ensure a stable and precise connection during the unlocking process.
With this advancement, there is no longer a need to send control units to laboratories for unlocking via RFT service, as the entire process can now be conducted within the workshop. This change aims to streamline operations, reduce turnaround times, and enhance autonomy for technicians.
To gain access to this protocol, users require either the FLS0.20 license or the Flex Full FLS0.5 configuration. Technicians interested in integrating this upgrade should contact the Sales Team for advice on the most suitable configuration.
The Flex platform continues to expand its capabilities, providing support for a range of operations including Read/Write/Checksum on internal and external flash memory, as well as full backups.
