Support Added for Bosch MEVD17.2.x ECUs

A significant update has been made to AutoTuner's capabilities, adding support for the Bosch MEVD17.2.2, MEVD17.2.7, and MEVD17.2.9 ECUs. This release focuses on popular petrol engines within the BMW Group, enabling users to perform 100% OBD Virtual Reading (VR) using the AutoTuner Tool.

With this enhancement, technicians can now read and write to these ECUs without the need for physical removal. The process involves connecting the AutoTuner directly to the vehicle's diagnostic port, allowing for efficient operation that can be completed in a matter of minutes.

The update supports various MINI models, including the 1.4 DFI, 1.6 DFI, and 1.6 Turbo engines across several platforms from 2007 to 2014. Additionally, the BMW 28i lineup featuring the N20 2.0T engine is also included in this capability, covering models like the 2-Series, 3-Series, and others produced during the same period.

Tuning professionals should ensure their software is current to take full advantage of these new features and streamline service offerings for MINI and BMW petrol vehicles.
